School branding families remember long after the open house.
Graphic Designers Group provides branding services for U.S. private K–12 schools, charter schools, and tutoring and learning centers. We design the complete brand — name, logo and crest, visual identity, athletics marks, admissions viewbook, and guidelines — so families recognize your school on the campus sign, in the admissions packet, and on the uniform. You receive production-ready design files. Your printer, uniform supplier, and sign shop handle production.
Pain points
The problems school leaders actually call about
Most schools do not need a new slogan. They need a crest that reproduces, an athletics mark that matches it, and admissions materials worth the tuition.
Our crest was drawn decades ago and falls apart in use
The crest has fine lines, a Latin motto in tiny letters, and six colors. On a blazer patch it blurs, on the website it turns into a smudge, and every vendor redraws it a little differently. The symbol families should trust looks inconsistent everywhere it appears.
The athletics logo has nothing to do with the school
The booster club commissioned a mascot years ago, and five versions now circulate on spirit wear, scoreboards, and team uniforms. None connect to the crest. Families see two institutions: the academic school and the teams.
Our admissions viewbook looks dated next to other schools
Families comparing private schools read every viewbook at the kitchen table. Yours has stock photos, crowded pages, and a layout from years ago. When tuition runs into five figures, families read the admissions materials as a sign of the whole program.
A new campus, grade band, or merger is pulling the look apart
You added a middle school, opened a second campus, or merged with another school. Each division built its own letterhead, signs, and social pages. Without guidelines, families cannot tell they belong to one school.
Fit
This page is for you if…
- You are founding a school, merging schools, or refreshing an old crest
- Families cannot tell what makes your school different
- You have a crest, but the athletics marks, viewbook, and uniforms look unrelated
- You want one system for academics, athletics, and admissions
- You need files your U.S. printer and uniform supplier can actually use
Not a fit
Skip this if you need something else
- You only need one open house post this week
- You want us to print viewbooks, embroider uniforms, or install campus signs
- You want ads or SEO before the identity is clear
Clarity
Branding, marketing, or printing?
U.S. school leaders often mix these three. Hiring the wrong one first wastes the budget.
| If this is the problem | What you need |
|---|---|
| Families cannot tell what makes your school different | Brand design |
| Identity is clear; you need more applications this admissions season | Marketing |
| Artwork is approved; you need viewbooks printed, uniforms embroidered, or signs installed | Printer / uniform supplier / sign shop |
If you need more applications next season, that is marketing. If families cannot tell what kind of school you are, that is branding.
What we design
Complete educational institution brand design
Make the crest, the athletics marks, and the viewbook look like one school families choose with confidence. Design files and templates only — no printed viewbooks or embroidered uniforms.
Brand naming
School or campus name checked on a campus sign, a diploma, a uniform patch, and a domain — ready for new divisions and campuses.
Logo
A crest or logo redrawn so it holds up as a blazer patch, a one-color diploma seal, a website icon, and a campus sign, plus a simplified version for small uses.
Complete brand identity
Color, type, and athletics marks built from the same system, with a viewbook and letter layout, so admissions, athletics, and the front office look like one school.
Packaging design
Kept to what schools use: accepted-family welcome box, enrollment folder, and diploma and certificate covers. Artwork for your printer.
Merchandise design
Where schools need it most: uniform patches, spirit wear, team uniforms, and scarves. Your uniform supplier and spirit wear vendor produce them.
Brand guidelines
Crest use rules, athletics mark rules, and division naming, so the next team, the next campus, and every booster club order stay consistent.
Also designed when needed: admissions viewbook, open house materials, campus and building signs, athletics marks and mascot, letterhead, diploma and certificate design, social media templates, website design.

Campus sign & entrance
Where the first visit starts.

Work
Educational Institution brand work
Add 2–3 real U.S. school or learning center projects here: the pain, what we designed (crest, viewbook, athletics marks), and the files delivered. Do not publish placeholder clients.
Why schools choose us
A school brand system, not a crest that only works on a banner.
Graphic Designers Group works with U.S. private schools, charter schools, and learning centers that need the crest, athletics marks, admissions materials, and uniforms to look like one school. We design the complete brand and hand over production-ready files and templates. We do not print, embroider, or run ads — so the work stays focused on the identity families actually see.
Industry expertise
Families judge a school in the admissions viewbook and at the open house, then see the crest on uniforms for years. Most school brands break there because the crest cannot reproduce small and athletics grew separately. We fix the crest and connect athletics first.
Fast turnaround
Most Basic and Standard packages move on a short timeline after the brief is complete — so the new look is ready before the admissions season opens, before uniform orders for the new year, or before a new campus opens.
Vendor-ready files
Your printer gets viewbook and diploma files. Your uniform supplier gets patch and embroidery marks. Your spirit wear vendor gets approved athletics marks. Your sign shop gets campus sign artwork. Production stays with them.
Works as a blazer patch and a website icon
The hardest uses are a crest embroidered as a small patch, a one-color diploma seal, and a website icon. We test the crest at each and deliver a simplified version for the smallest uses.
Clear packages
Basic $299, Standard $499, Enterprise $799. Standard adds the viewbook template or athletics marks and a uniform patch; Enterprise adds campus signs, letterhead, diplomas, and spirit wear. Multi-campus schools are quoted after discovery.
Built to stay consistent
Guidelines cover the crest, athletics marks, and division names, so the next team, the next campus, or the next booster club order does not invent a new school by accident.

FAQ
Questions school leaders ask before they buy
What is included in school branding services?
School branding at Graphic Designers Group includes complete brand design: naming direction, logo or crest, visual identity, packaging such as the welcome box and diploma covers, spirit wear and uniform design, and guidelines. Standard and Enterprise add the admissions viewbook, athletics marks, campus signs, and letterhead as scoped. You receive production-ready files; we do not print or embroider.
How much does school branding cost?
School branding starts at $299 for Basic, $499 for Standard, and $799 for Enterprise. Basic covers naming direction, logo or crest, starter palette, and essential guidelines. Standard adds full identity plus the viewbook template or athletics marks and a uniform patch. Enterprise adds campus signs, letterhead, diplomas, and spirit wear as scoped. Multi-campus schools are quoted separately.
Do you print viewbooks or make uniforms?
No. Graphic Designers Group designs the artwork and templates only. Your printer produces viewbooks and diplomas, your uniform supplier embroiders patches, your spirit wear vendor makes team and fan gear, and your sign shop builds campus signs. We deliver production-ready files set up for each vendor.
Is naming included for a school?
Yes, naming direction is included as scoped. It helps when you found a school, merge two schools, or name a new campus or division. We check the name on a campus sign, a diploma, and a uniform patch. You confirm availability and any accreditation or state requirements before announcing it.
Can you redraw our crest without losing its history?
Yes. We keep the symbols, colors, and motto that carry meaning for alumni, then redraw them with cleaner lines and fewer details so the crest reproduces on patches, seals, and screens. We also deliver a simplified mark for small uses. Families and alumni still recognize the crest, now in a consistent form.
Can you design an athletics logo and mascot?
Yes. We design an original athletics mark and mascot that connect to the school’s colors and crest, with versions for jerseys, helmets, scoreboards, and spirit wear. We do not copy college or professional team logos. Guidelines tell coaches and booster clubs which versions to use.
Who owns the files?
You receive the design files in your package for your school’s use, as stated in the project agreement. That includes the crest, athletics and viewbook artwork as scoped, and the guidelines, so any printer, uniform supplier, or booster club vendor can work from the same approved files.
Can you design our admissions viewbook?
Yes. We design a viewbook template with cover, program pages, student life, tuition and admissions steps, and a clear call to apply, in InDesign or an editable format. You supply the photos, story, and tuition details. A consistent viewbook helps families compare your school fairly with larger competitors.
