Services

Graphic Designers Group is a working group of core creative designers and artists. We build complete brand identities for small and midsize businesses — logo, name when needed, stationery, social marks, signage art, menus, and merchandise files — in any industry listed on this page.

This hub is the service map: what we design, what each package includes, what is not included, how the work moves, and which industry page to open if you already know your category.

Scope, stated once: starting prices cover final design and source files only. Printing, sign manufacture, yard install, and hard copies are not included in any package.

What these branding services cover

Branding services here means a usable identity system, not a slide deck about purpose. For an SMB, that system has to survive a Google Business photo, a van door, a menu, a clinic board, and a 32-pixel app icon without falling apart.

We design:

  • Name — only when the package includes it and you do not already have a viable name
  • Logo system — primary mark plus icons/submarks for social and apps
  • Brand identity — layouts, color palette, typography used in the system
  • Applications — business card, letterhead, envelope, social covers, apparel art, banner/flyer/signage art, brochure, menu, merchandise art, depending on package

If you only need a logo, start at logo design services. If you need the identity applied to a specific trade, use branding services by industry.

Core services

Each item below is a buying path. Open the child page when you already know the job. Use this hub when you need the full system or an industry route.

Logo design

A primary mark that stays legible at favicon size and on a job-site board. Includes thinking about clear space, one-color use, and a submark when the full name will not fit.

Logo design services →

Brand identity

Color, type, and layouts so the logo is not an orphan file. This is the Standard package core: the rules your printer, ads manager, and staff can actually follow.

Brand applications

The files operators use every week — cards, letterhead, covers, menus, apparel art, signage art. Enterprise adds the larger print set.

Industry branding

Same designers, different constraints. A dental mark cannot look like a brewery mark. Industry pages list the touchpoints that matter in that trade.

If you need those produced, take the delivered files to a local printer or fabricator. We can format art for their spec when you send the spec; production itself stays outside the package.

Upgrade path is linear: Basic → Standard → Enterprise. Pay the difference if you start lower and the application list grows.

What You Receive in the Files

Every paid package ends with final design + source files. That typically means:

File intentWhy it exists
Vector source (AI / EPS / SVG as applicable)So a printer can resize without blur
Layered working fileSo a later designer can edit, not redraw
PNG / JPG applicationsFast use on Google, social, email, proposals
Color + type notes (Standard and above)So staff stop inventing a second palette
Application layouts in-packageCard, covers, apparel, menu, etc. as listed

You own the final delivered artwork for your business use after the project is complete and paid. Trademark filing, search, and legal clearance are not a design package item — that is an attorney’s job.

How a project actually runs

1 Brief Industry, uses, competitors 2 Concepts Original directions, not clones 3 Revisions Tighten the chosen system 4 Handoff Final + source files No long discovery theatre. You do not buy a 12-week workshop. You buy a working identity and the files to use it.
  1. Brief — Industry, current name, what the mark must appear on, two or three competitors you do not want to resemble, anything that must be avoided (clip-art gavel, script “fresh,” generic leaf).
  2. Concepts — Designers inside the group draw original directions for that brief. This is not a contest dump of 50 near-identical icons.
  3. Revisions — You pick a direction. We correct weight, spacing, color, and application layouts until the system holds on the items in your package.
  4. Handoff — Final art and source files. If a printer later sends a die-line or a sign shop sends a panel size, send it; we fit the already-approved art to that spec as a file adjustment, not as a new brand.

Who this is for — and who should hire someone else

This is for owners and operators of small and midsize businesses who need a complete, original identity they can hand to a printer next week. Clinics, trades, restaurants, firms, shops, fleets — the industry pages below are written for those operators.

This is not for enterprise brand architecture programs, 6-month positioning retainers, or anyone who wants us to print, fabricate, or install. It is also not a template marketplace and not an AI logo generator with a human wrapper.

If you are still deciding whether to hire a designer at all, read red flags to avoid when hiring a logo designer and questions to ask before hiring a logo designer.

Why the work sits with a group of designers, not a single gig profile

Graphic Designers Group is a group of core creative designers and artists. A brief is not auctioned to whoever is online. The mark, the type, and the application files are made inside that group so a restaurant menu and a matching social cover are one system, not two unrelated jobs.

What that changes in practice:

  • Industry context stays in the file. A plumber’s submark is built to read on a truck door, not only on a portfolio shot.
  • Applications reuse the same geometry. Enterprise banner/flyer/signage art is the identity at large scale, not a new style.
  • Source files are part of the product. The next vendor you hire should not have to redraw the logo.

For the difference between a lone freelancer and a structured team, see freelance designer vs design agency.

Original work No template lockups. No stock icon with your name. Source files on delivery Vectors and working files so a printer can use the art. Scope is honest Design + files. Not print, not fabricate, not install.

Frequently asked questions

What branding services does Graphic Designers Group actually sell?

Custom identity work for small and midsize businesses: name when needed, logo, icons/submarks, brand identity (layouts, color, typography used), and the application files listed in each package. We do not sell printing, sign manufacture, yard install, or hard copies.

Who does the design — a marketplace or a group?

A group of core creative designers and artists. Work is briefed and produced inside that group so the logo and the applications stay one system.

Who is this service for?

Owners of small and midsize businesses in the industries listed on this page — trades, clinics, restaurants, firms, shops, fleets, studios — who need original files they can hand to a vendor.

What is the difference between logo design and branding services?

A logo is the mark. Branding services here means the mark plus the system around it: color, type, layouts, and the in-package applications (card, covers, apparel art, menu, signage art, and so on). Basic is mark-led. Standard adds the identity system. Enterprise adds the larger print and merchandise set.

What is in the Basic package for $299?

Name if needed, business card design, logo, and icons or submarks used for social media and apps. Final design and source files only.

What is in the Standard package for $499?

Everything in Basic, plus complete brand identity (layouts, color palette, typography used), social media covers, T-shirt/hoodie/jacket/hat design, and letterhead/envelope design.

What is in the Enterprise package for $799?

Everything in Standard, plus banner, flyer and signage design, brochure, menu design, and merchandise design.

Are these prices starting prices or fixed quotes?

Starting prices for the scope written on this page. If you add applications outside the chosen package, or need the identity rebuilt after a legal name change mid-project, the scope is requoted. The three tiers themselves are the default commercial offer.

What is not included in any package?

Printing, sign manufacture, yard install, and a hard copy of the design. You receive files. Production is a separate vendor.

Do I receive source files?

Yes. Every package is scoped as final design + source files. That is the product.

Who owns the final artwork?

You own the final delivered artwork for your business use once the project is complete and paid. We do not keep your mark locked behind a license for ordinary business use. Trademark registration is separate legal work.

Will you register my trademark?

No. Designers draw and prepare files. A trademark attorney searches and files. Do not treat a paid invoice from a design studio as a registration.

Do you print business cards, menus, or signs?

No. We design the art. Your printer or fabricator produces the object. If they issue a spec (bleed, panel size, garment print area), send it and we fit the approved art to that spec as a file.

Do you manufacture or install yard signs?

No. Enterprise includes signage design. Manufacture and yard install are excluded from every package.

Can I start on Basic and move to Standard or Enterprise later?

Yes. Pay the difference between tiers. Existing approved marks are carried forward; we do not charge you to redraw a finished logo just to unlock letterhead.

Is naming included?

Yes, when needed, starting at Basic. If you already have a viable legal name, we design to that name. Naming here is a workable business name for the identity, not a six-week verbal-identity program.

How do I brief you well?

Industry, name status, three things the business must not look like, and a list of real surfaces: truck, menu, Google listing, clinic board, bag. Surfaces beat adjectives such as “modern, clean, professional.”

How long does a project take?

Time follows package complexity and how fast you reply. A Basic mark-and-card set is shorter than an Enterprise set that includes menu, brochure, and signage art. First concepts follow a complete brief, not a calendar gimmick.

How do revisions work?

You pick a direction. We revise that system — spacing, color, applications — rather than restarting from zero each round. A new strategic direction (different name, different industry positioning, discard the chosen mark) is a new scope.

Do you use AI image tools as the delivered logo?

No. The delivered identity is original work by designers in the group. AI may exist in the wider market as a sketching toy; it is not what you are paying $299–$799 to receive as a final mark.

How is this different from an AI logo generator?

Generators remix common shapes and license the output under their own terms. We draw for your brief, apply it to the items in your package, and hand over source files for your vendors.

How is this different from hiring one freelancer?

A single freelancer can design a strong mark. The failure mode is orphan files: a logo with no card, or a card that does not match the Instagram cover. The group structure exists so applications stay on-system.

Do you work in every industry listed?

Yes. The industry pages exist because constraints change: a dental practice and a brewery should not share a visual recipe. The designers are the same group; the brief is not.

I run two locations. Do I need two packages?

Usually no. One identity system, applied to both addresses. You may need extra application files (a second menu, a second facade size). That is a file add-on, not a second brand — unless the locations are intentionally different concepts.

Can you rebuild an existing logo instead of starting over?

Yes, when the current mark has equity and the problem is execution (poor vector, dated lockup, missing submark). Say that in the brief. A rebuild is still scoped inside Basic, Standard, or Enterprise based on which applications you need.

What if I only want a menu, not a new logo?

If the current logo is usable, we can still design a menu as part of Enterprise, or quote a single application. If the current logo collapses at menu size, fix the mark first (Basic) then apply it.

What file types should I expect?

Vector source for the mark, working files for layouts, and flattened PNG/JPG for immediate upload. Exact extensions follow what your printer requests. We do not withhold vectors on these packages.

Will the logo work in one color and at small size?

That is a requirement of a usable SMB mark. If a concept only works in a six-color gradient at billboard size, it is not done.

Do social media covers and app icons use the same logo file?

They use the same system. Covers and app icons often need a submark or cropped lockup — that is why Basic includes icons/submarks instead of stretching the full wordmark into a square.

Is apparel design the printed shirt?

No. Standard includes T-shirt/hoodie/jacket/hat design. A garment decorator prints or embroiders from the file. You pay that decorator separately.

Is merchandise design physical product?

No. Enterprise includes merchandise design. Product sourcing and print runs are outside the package.

Do you write standalone brand strategy documents?

We make the decisions those documents usually describe — audience, what not to resemble, how the mark will be used — and put those decisions into the files. These packages are not a 40-page strategy book.

How do I know whether I need a refresh or a full rebrand?

Refresh: name and recognition still work; the drawing, type, or files are tired. Full rebrand: the name, offer, or audience changed, or the current mark is generic clip-art. The brief answers this; you do not need a separate paid audit to start.

Can you match my printer’s die-line or a sign shop’s panel size?

Yes, after the identity is approved, if you send the spec. That is file fitting, not a new package, unless the spec requires a new application that was never in scope.

What does “layouts, color palette, typography used” mean in Standard?

The identity is specified in the way it will actually be used: which colors, which typefaces, and how cards, covers, and letterhead are built. It is not a moodboard of unused options.

Do you provide stock photos or custom photography?

No. Photography is not in these packages. We design marks and layouts; you supply photos or hire a photographer.

Do you build websites in these packages?

No. These packages are identity and application art. Website design is a separate service if you need it later.

How do I start?

Use the form on this page. State industry, package, name status, and the surfaces the mark must hit. That brief is enough to begin.

What happens after I submit the form?

A designer-side review of the brief, confirmation of package scope, then concepts. If the brief is missing industry or uses, we ask before drawing.

Key takeaway

Graphic Designers Group designs complete branding systems for small and midsize businesses in any of the industries listed above. You buy final design and source files at $299, $499, or $799. You do not buy print, fabrication, or install. Pick the package that matches the surfaces you actually use, open the industry page that matches the trade you run, and send the brief.
